Automatic Model 7355 Motorized System consists of
two parallel mounted, direct drive drapery
tracks; utilizing two Model 355 motors and accompanying 90 Dual Channel Track. Accordia-Fold® carriers have been incorporated,
making shade fabrication with corresponding snap tape simple. This
system can be controlled
by surface mount or recessed switches, home automation systems,
as well as radio frequency or infrared wireless remote control.
Shades are fabricated similar to Roman shades. A pocket is formed
every 10" to incorporate wooden slats, which creates rigidity.
The Model 7355 system is available for COM shades, or as a complete
system, with either Tontine opaque or SheerWeave 2000 fabric shades.
Skylight Shade Fabrication Instructions for COM Shades
With the Model 7355 Skylight Shading System, shades are fabricated
similar to a Roman Shade. A 1.5” wide pocket is formed at
10” (+/-) increments, in order to incorporate wooden slats,
which are used to create rigidity. The shade is attached to roller
snap carriers with Accordia-fold tape. The snaps are attached on
the inside of the shade on pockets, at the following locations:
1. first snaps at 1.75” in from the front edge. 2. intermediate
snaps at 1.75” in from the side edge. 3. rear snaps at least
8” from the rear edge (to cover motor). The rear edge of
the shade should have Velcro (or similar) for fastening to the
back of the skylight opening.
Shade stacking is approximately 25% of the overall system length,
plus 9”.
