Another new product for 2004, is our Model 9700, specifically designed for motorizing COM Hunter Douglas Silhouette® shades.

The Model 9700, utilizes an amazingly powerful 24 VDC motor, to fully operate even the largest Silhouette® shade. Control options (which are shown below) include:

• Infrared remote control - Powered by a simple plug-in transformer.
  
• Infrared remote control with supplemental wall switch -
  Powered by a simple plug-in transformer.
  
• Automation control system - Direct wiring to control system, which provides 24VDC required power.

Order the Silhouette® shade directly from Hunter Douglas, and send it to us for the addition of motorization.

Shades from any collection can be motorized.

The Model 9700 will effortlessly handle the largest Silhouette® that Hunter Douglas will make, while the minimum shade width for motorizing is 14”. When using the Silhouette® 2 on 1 option, two motors are required.

Model 9700 Electrical/Electronic Information
The electrical requirements for the Model 9700 is unique among all the other systems in our line. It is the only “low voltage” motor, and therefore, the electrical information shown below is for the Model 9700 only. Power is supplied by either a plug-in transformer (see diagrams A and B) or a control system providing 24VDC (600mA) directly to the motor.
